the downside of being a temp
Like the title suggests…being a temp has its good sides. But i’ve just been given fucking retarded news.
I was handed my hours after last saturdays shift and it said I was working tuesday and wednesday then i wasnt working again for another seven days. Now I’ve just been told that I’m supposed to be in tomorrow morning AT FUCKING SEVEN THIRTY!…HOW THE FUCK CAN YOU “FORGET” ABOUT A SHIFT LIKE THAT!!
Yes thats right, I’ve just lost any good feeling I had towards my department manager. As she is, for lack of good mood, Fucking Useless! I was just thinking to myself “Ah this is wicked, I can enjoy my time off and do a bit of gaming, and prepare for the 7.30 start I have next wednesday. Now I have this retarded shift tomorrow thats just fucked up my good mood completely. I’m actually surprised how mad this has made me. I didn’t like my department manager much anyways, cos she’s just been commenting on shit about me all this week. Feels like she’s been riding my back. Can’t wait till Andy (the normal department manager who’s currently on holiday) gets back and my current one fucks off. Maybe he’ll remember to tell me when my shifts are.
I get the feeling someone has decided to swap a shift with me without even fucking asking me. Or swapping a shift with me without giving me a day off later in the week.
Well thats really but a downer on the rest of my fucking day.
